Laboratory

At Echo Amsterdam we have a branch of the SALT laboratory for all the blood analysis needed during pregnancy.  The laboratory is open during weekdays and on saturday. If needed someone can visit you at home to take a blood sample. This can be very convenient in the first week after your delivery.

After taking the blood, it will be transported to SALT’s modern laboratory. A team of certified and qualified analysts will do the analysis. When the results are available they will be sent to your midwife, on the same day if needed. Your midwife will inform you about these results.

SALT opening hours are:

Monday to Friday         8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lunchbreak                   12 a.m. to 12.30 a.m.

Saturday                         9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
