Early Pregnancy Scan

An early pregnancy scan can give you a feeling of reassurance in the early stages of your pregnancy. Maybe you have had a previous miscarriage or the wait for the due date scan feels too long. With this early pregnancy ultrasound scan we can determine whether the pregnancy is viable, which means that the embryo is inside the uterus and its heart is beating.

We can make this scan from 6,5 weeks but advise to wait for at least 7 weeks to be more sure of the result. Any scan before 10 weeks will be performed internally (vaginaly) to have a clear view of the uterus. For an internal scan it helps to have an empty bladder.

You will receive a picture print out to take home and some pictures digital.
